Healthy Children: There comes a time when we have to make a stand. For me, that decision was made six years ago when I joined with Christine Berman RD MPH and the North Bay Children's Center to be the director of the Garden of Eatin' Project - a model childhood obesity prevention program for early childhood education centers. We connect our pre-school children to the wonderful fresh sweet tastes of garden-grown fruits and vegetables. It has been amazing and very rewarding. It has taught me that now, more than ever "Every Child Needs a Garden."
